So there has been some slacking on this blog lately. I am sorry for that. It is now time to get back into a solid posting routine.
For starters, swimming hangouts have been great lately. Hood rats at the Medina City Pool make those hangouts even better. When I can figure out how to convert cell phone videos to the proper format I will post videos showing how great these hood rats really were.
Yesterday I ventured down to West Virginia with Overload for their show with Trapped Under Ice. Tank Top Guy is pissed he could not attend, but he voluntarily forfeited the remainder of his summer to work at a factory. What an idiot. Anyways, the show was a lot of fun, as were pre-show full court basketball and all day hangouts. Billy almost ruined the night by locking his keys in his trunk, but luckily AAA came and saved the night during the very last song of TUI's set. That band never disappoints live and will only continue to improve.
On the show front, here is what's coming up:
August 13th at Now That's Class
REIGN SUPREME
THE CARRIER
October 12th
CROWD DETERRENT
CREEPOUT
NUMB
November 12th
BIGGEST TOUR EVER
On another hardcore related note, be on the lookout for a possible comp coming out in the relatively near future featuring bands from this area as well as other bands that people need to check out.
On a lifting related note:
-Taylor loves trying to ruin sets by making jokes, but that is just so he can hopefully someday be as strong as me.
-Hess has gone away from the weights and now does 500,000 push-ups a week to cement his status as the most eligible bachelor in the greater Cleveland area.
-Peanut needs to do something that involves physical activity so he will no longer be the most out of shape one of our friends.
-Halloween Guy has been back in the gym and is hopefully making good progress.
-Carlson has been avoiding the gym but is always trying to keep losing weight to get under 100 lbs.
-For me it is time for cardio to start up again and shed another 10-15 lbs to get down to around 200, possibly under 200. We will see how motivated I am.
On a swimming related note:
-If you have a pool or know someone who has a pool, let us swim. We are very respectful and always behave.
On a sports related note:
-There should be baseball hangouts soon. Basketball and football are also good ideas.
This was a long post, there was a lot of catching up to do now that summer classes are no longer crippling my summer. Freedom is great, America is great, Europe is still better.
