No Warning appreciation.

Let the haters hate, and the older generation talk about the youth crew band the members were in prior, but band is flawless. No warning S/T is one of the first hardcore records i listened to so i have to show my respects. Ill blood is a complete record, one which you can listen too all the way through which is hard to find. I'd also take suffer survive over a lot of the hardcore albums out today. Props to Anthony Jochum for the Ill Blood tattoo.

( I just figured this blog needed some hardcore talk, that's all. Go listen to Short Fuse and lose your mind for a second. )

maybe the "older generation" talks about their previous youth crew band because those dudes were cool and solid and then they heard right brigade and then a week later they had no warning. shit was contrived, and fake, as fuck.

No Warning is the shit... not was the shit. Still jamming Ill Blood at this moment in fact, in my 5 album playlist for the day.

Sound and Fury is correct that Right Brigade is amazing, however No Warning was not FAKE, as fuck. I think they had other influences besides RB, maybe some older NYHC perhaps.

im pretty sure i know what im talking about since we knew them when they are in their other band, then they saw Right Brigade, who i never said was amazing, and literally two weeks later, their band was suddenly hardman core, with all the tidings of bad nyhc bands of the mid 90s. just sayin'... shit was made up and fake.

so in that case I will be ignoring all your music advice from now on. Made up and fake ?? Ever heard of influences and taking something you heard and putting your twist on it. Can't say that every band that heard Judge, Bold, etc didn't take that sound and work from it to make it something of their own. Think TYF, IME, etc.. they didn't invent the youth crew sound, just made some badass music in that genre.

oh it's cool man, i'd rather you not take my musical advice.
an influence is fine. but completely changing your sound almost overnight to fit the "cool" new trend in hardcore is hardly amazing or cool or awesome or anything else besides lame and fake.
