TRAPPED UNDER ICE / CURTAINS / EMPIRE

What started off looking as if it would be a total dud ended up being another great TRAPPED UNDER ICE show in Cleveland. People got wild and surprisingly there were no injuries. Here is the review in order:

Fight Pretty - They were sad that they had to play first, everyone else was sad that they played at all.

Curtains - Good new band from Long Island. Ed Mishic even enjoyed them which is about as good of a compliment as a newer band can receive. Played a nice quick heavy set with a pretty weak reaction, but you'll have that considering it was their first time in town.

Empire - Everyone's favorite Triceratops side project delivered another good set. I have heard from multiple people that they even like this band more than Triceratops. Also, how good did Josh look in that dress?

Trapped Under Ice - In my opinion, their best reaction in Cleveland yet. There was considerably less bloodshed than last time and no old women were destroyed, but the overall energy during the set was significantly higher. This is about the only band that really lives up to the hype they receive which says a lot considering they are just about the most hyped band on the planet. Seeing them with their full lineup was also nice.

Overall it was a solid Monday night. Post-show nonsense capped off the night perfectly.

There might be pictures posted sometime.
